Description
It took me six months to get permits for us to go into this part of the desert. We parked the Jeep at Wire Pass road in southern Utah and hiked 2 miles to the border, then 2 miles in Arizona to get to the Wave in Paria Canyon. It's amazingly beautiful and well worth the 106� heat, rattlesnakes, tarantulas and climbing hills of sand that goes over your shoes.
