Description
This is the rock formation called Indian Maiden. It is found in Lower Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona.
Lower Antelope is a beautiful slot canyon formed by flash floods and erosion. You enter thru a hole and climb several ladders to get down to the floor of the canyon. As you're climbing further down the ladders clinging to your tripod and camera equipment, remember that you need to get out of there If it's raining even 35 miles away. Eleven people drowned there in 1997.
